Terms of use

These terms apply to Prismly’s population, housing and percentage-change calculators and explanatory material.

Educational calculations

Results depend on the values you enter and the stated formula. Prismly does not verify input datasets, import live official statistics or determine the causes of population or housing changes. Check geographic boundaries, reference periods, definitions and units before comparing values. Estimates and rounded results are not official statistical releases.

Use and interpretation

Use the tools for learning, explaining arithmetic and comparing consistent scenarios. Do not present illustrative counts as current statistics for a named place, or an aggregate result as evidence about every neighborhood or household. An annualized growth rate summarizes endpoints; total vacancy does not establish rental availability. Source documentation and relevant uncertainty information remain essential.

Reasonable use

Do not disrupt the website, bypass access controls, submit malicious code or send misleading contact messages. Do not submit passwords, identity documents or private household records. Respect rights in site content and third-party materials. Linking to public pages for reference is welcome.

External resources and advertising

External websites are controlled by their operators and have their own terms. References do not imply endorsement of Prismly. Advertising, when present, is separate from the tools; an advertisement is not a recommendation of an advertiser or a guarantee about its products.

Errors, changes and rights

Content and software may be corrected or updated. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free outputs for every input or completeness for every statistical question. Report suspected errors with a page URL, non-identifying example values and your expected result. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Contact and privacy

Use Contact Prismly for questions, calculation issues or content-rights concerns. Identify the affected page and relevant material. Our privacy policy explains technical information and contact-message handling. Acceptance of these terms does not substitute for any consent required for non-essential cookies.
